BCAR 2nd Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk for Charity Location: Panama City Beach, Florida, United States Panama City Beach, Florida Starts at: 12:00 AM This is an all day event Description: Event Information: Proceeds go to Advocates for Children, Inc., the non-profit organization that supports the Guardian ad Litem Program. Guardian ad Litem advocates on behalf of children involved in the court system due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect. For more information, contact Nancy Palmer, 850-625-7433 Course Description: The course is an out-and-back along the Gulf. It's flat and fast. Location and Facilities: Start is at the intersection of Front Beach and Back Beach Road (by the Winn-Dixie) (23200 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, FL 32413). Distances: 5,000 meters (3.106856 miles) Classes, Costs, and Awards: $20. The event is family-friendly and will include trophies and medals for the runners, food and refreshments, an inflatable jumper, fire trucks, police cruisers, etc. for everyone to enjoy after the run.
