“I love this school and the entire staff. The teachers my son has had in the ESE-Autism PreK classes have been wonderful. It feel more like an extended family to us. The office staff know my son by name and are always very kind. They do not seem to have a lot of activities for the kids to do though.”

“My son is in mrs. Trzaska's class(pre-k/ese). When he started cedar grove he really didn't talk and had a very hard time separating from me. Now he is talking and cant wait to go to school! Mrs trzaska and the para's are a+!! I love the way they are with the children, they are very compassionate, but keep the structure as well. My son is a different boy since he started, and I owe it all to mrs. Trzaska'a class. He was 3 yrs old when he started and is now 4 yrs old and everyone can tell a huge difference. I could see the progress in the first month. I suggest any parent with a child with a disability should give cedar grove a chance. Trust me, you wont be disappointed!”

“For the third year in a row, my daughter has an excellent teacher, so we've been extremely lucky in that regard. She really enjoys going to school and has loved all of her teachers so far. However, I still have the same complaints as always in that there is no extracurricular activities. They did about a 30 minute performance when she graduated Kindergarten, but that's it so far. Last year the 5th graders put on a Christmas play, which was apparently the first one in who knows how long. None of the other grades got to participate. I don't understand why they can't put on one or two little plays a year or even just a chorus performance or something. They don't have a football team or cheerleaders either and I don't know why. It seems like they could at least have one or the other, sports or drama or something.”

“I felt that Cedar Grove has a good percentage of parental involvement. I felt though, for my daughter's class the academic program could have been more 'hands on' rather than overly repetitive paper work.”

“My son went to this school for 2 years, until we moved, and we were very pleased with it. The academic progress of my son was very high, and I was happy with the teachers. The only thing I had issues with, is there is almost NO parental involvment. I was class-mother, and I had to do everything myself. I could get no one to help, or even get interested.”
